A man was attacked and stabbed multiple times by a group of assailants in East London last month, with the entire incident captured on a dashcam, footage of which is circulating on social media.

The attack took place just after 5 AM on June 23, with the victim reporting the crime on his way to the hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.

The man had been a passenger in a taxi that was dropping off three other passengers when the attack took place.

A car pulled up behind the taxi as the passengers were leaving, and men jumped out to chase them.

The taxi driver tried to quickly drive away from the scene, but one of the attackers forced his way into the backseat of the car and begged the driver to floor it.

As the men continued to pursue the car, one of them smashed the driver's side window, while others reached through the car's windows and doors to stab the passenger.

The victim defended himself with a knife before the driver was finally able to speed away.

The victim handed over money to the driver and pleaded with him to drive faster as the assailants chased them in a white BMW.
