Despite Crooks' intentions, the Secret Service allegedly failed to detect his scheme, revealing a glaring lapse in security measures.

The agency, which did not utilize drones for surveillance during the event, and allegedly only had 22 agents protecting Donald Trump, now faces scrutiny for overlooking the aerial reconnaissance conducted by the would-be assassin.

Crooks meticulously prepared for the attack, reportedly conducting research on the rally site and even exploring the area on a bike days before the event.
