Secret Service Allowed Trump Shooter To Fly Drone Over Rally Site Hours Before [VIDEOS]

Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old gunman who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania, allegedly employed a drone to scout the fairgrounds where Trump was speaking.

Sources say he programmed the drone to fly over the site multiple times to plan his attack, according to The Wall Street Journal [1].

Despite Crooks’ intentions, the Secret Service allegedly failed to detect his scheme, revealing a glaring lapse in security measures.

So a 20-year-old would be assas*in can use a drone but not the Secret Service?

The agency, which did not utilize drones for surveillance during the event, and allegedly only had 22 agents protecting Donald Trump, now faces scrutiny for overlooking the aerial reconnaissance conducted by the would-be assassin.

Crooks meticulously prepared for the attack, reportedly [4] conducting research on the rally site and even exploring the area on a bike days before the event.

He targeted Trump as the former president delivered his speech, firing from a nearby building, killing one, and injuring several other individuals in the process.

Authorities discovered a drone in Crooks’ possession, along with homemade explosive devices and ammunition [5].

His actions demonstrate a calculated attempt to inflict mass harm, raising concerns about potential motives and ideological influences behind his violent actions.

While investigators delve into Crooks’ background and digital footprint for clues, his disturbing behavior and isolation from society suggest underlying mental health issues may have contributed to his violent behavior.
