The band eventually went on hiatus after their second album, "Darkhorse," in 2003 but regrouped in 2007 and released their third album, "The Brimstone Sluggers," in 2015.

Just recently, on April 28, he had taken to Instagram to express his devotion to sobriety,"I’m a lover than a fighter …but the one I need to love more Instead of fight with is myself .. mr shifty true Love # Sober alive and grateful."
