A British woman, identified by Essex Police as Victoria Thomas-Bowen, was arrested on Tuesday, June 4, on charges of assault by beating and criminal damage for throwing a milkshake at Nigel Farage, the right-wing politician who is the leader of the Reform UK Party. The incident occurred during Farage's campaign kick-off press conference in Clacton. Thomas-Bowen is a left-wing OnlyFans model who used the attack as an opportunity to promote her sexually explicit content on the adult entertainment website.

After the incident, Thomas-Bowen posted a sexually explicit photograph on her Instagram stories along with the song "Milkshake" by Kelis. She also linked her OnlyFans account to the post. Her political affiliations and background have come to light as well. Sources have confirmed that she supports MP Jeremy Corbyn, a former UK Labour Party leader campaigning as an Independent, who has faced criticism in the past for supporting terror groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah.

The attack caused controversy, with some people accusing conservatives of using such incidents to play the victim and shift focus from the important issue. However, in this particular incident, an innocent conservative woman was blamed for the attack. Shelagh Fogarty, a journalist and LBC radio host, falsely accused Emily Hewertson, a senior press officer in the House of Commons, of orchestrating the incident to boost support for Farage. These false accusations quickly spread on social media platforms, such as X. Hewertson threatened legal action against the false accusations.
Nigel Farage made light of the attack at the campaign event and joked: "My milkshake brings all the people to the rally." However, many people have criticized the normalization of such attacks on politicians, regardless of their political affiliations.

In the wake of the incident, opinions are divided over the appropriateness of publicly attacking politicians. While some feel that such aggressive rhetoric is part and parcel of politics in today's world, others believe that such actions cannot be condoned in a civilized society and have no place in a democratic discourse. The issue raises the question of whether there is a need to establish curtailing measures on public behavior, particularly at political rallies and events.
Meanwhile, the incident sparked outrage among conservative circles, resulting in backlash against left-wing activists who promote such acts of violence. It is unclear how the incident will affect upcoming elections in the UK, but it highlights the need for proper dialogue between individuals with different opinions and underscores the importance of retaining civility in our political discourse.
