Senator Bernie Moreno (R-OH) on Wednesday released graphic images of a woman identified only as “Holly,” who was the victim of a violent mob assault in downtown Cincinnati early Saturday morning, as reported [1] by The Gateway Pundit.
The photos, which show severe injuries, were posted alongside pointed criticism of local leadership’s response to the incident.
Video of the attack went viral over the weekend.

It shows Holly and a white male companion being attacked by a crowd, with one clip capturing the moment Holly was struck and fell unconscious, bleeding from the mouth. The assault has drawn nationwide attention and condemnation.
According to Moreno, Holly gave permission for the release of the photos to bring attention to the brutality of the incident and highlight the lack of response from Cincinnati officials.

Moreno’s post included a direct message to the city’s leadership, calling out what he described as inadequate responses from Mayor Aftab Pureval, Police Chief Teresa Theetge, Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich, U.S. Rep. Greg Landsman, and City Council Member Victoria Parks.
“Cincinnati is an amazing and spectacular city. It deserves political leadership that matches the greatness of its citizens,” Moreno wrote.
He continued, “@AftabPureval issues a late/weak statement, Police Chief blames social media (not the lack of almost 200 officers), Prosecutor @ConniePillich lets off lowlifes with $400 bail, @RepGregLandsman silent & posting about Ukraine, City Council member blames [6] the victim.”
Moreno added, “This is Holly. She wanted to have a nice evening out with friends. Instead, she got this.”

Vice President J.D. Vance, who resides near Cincinnati, condemned the attack earlier in the week and called out the individual who sucker punched Holly in the video.
Vivek Ramaswamy also spoke with Holly after the attack. In a statement posted online, Ramaswamy said:
“She’s a single working mom who went to a friend’s birthday party. It’s unconscionable that there were no police present in that area of Cincinnati on a Friday night, or even an ambulance to take her to the hospital.”
Ramaswamy further criticized [11] progressive policies, stating, “Leftists like to lecture about ‘systemic injustice’ while thugs turn our cities into war zones. I’m done with their excuses.”

According to prosecutors during a court hearing Wednesday, Holly is Russian and returned to her home country the day after the attack. Three individuals charged [14] in connection with the beating appeared in court, where high bail was set.
The FBI and the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division are now involved in the investigation. Holly reportedly has not been contacted by any local or state official other than one police detective, according to Ramaswamy.
Calls for leadership accountability have intensified as the case continues to unfold.
