The suspect in question, Chad Irish, 55, already out on parole for a previous robbery in the Bronx, has been hit with charges including concealment of a human corpse, criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing. Despite his extensive rap sheet, Irish has not yet faced homicide charges in connection with Williams’ death. Reports indicate that Irish has 21 prior offenses to his name, underscoring the concerning nature of his criminal history.

The community was shaken when news broke that Irish had been brought in for questioning regarding Williams’ murder. Dozens of enraged locals confronted the parolee, reflecting the intensity of emotions surrounding this incident.

Law enforcement officials confirmed on Monday that Williams’ death was a result of a gunshot wound to the head, leading them to categorize the case as a homicide.
