A Third Of Democrats Are ‘Assassination Attempt Deniers’ New Poll Shows [VIDEOS]

Following an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania, a conspiracy theory [1] has gained traction among Democrats, suggesting the shooting was staged for a photo op.

Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, one-third of Democratic voters find this theory credible, according to a recent Morning Consult poll [4].

The poll revealed that 34 percent of Democrats believe the shooting was not intended to harm Trump, with 45 percent dismissing the theory. This phenomenon, dubbed “BlueAnon,” mirrors the QAnon conspiracy theory that once gripped parts of the Republican base.

Prominent Democratic figures and liberal media commentators have fueled these conspiracy theories. Dmitri Mehlhorn [5], a known Democratic powerbroker, wasted no time in promoting the idea that the shooting was a false-flag operation. “This is a classic Russian tactic, such as when Putin killed 300 civilians in 1999 and blamed it on terrorists to ride the backlash to winning power,” Mehlhorn wrote in a memo to reporters.

However, Mehlhorn conveniently ignored the numerous photos showing bullets narrowly missing Trump’s face and the blood from the bullet wound on his right ear. He also did not mention the tragic death of firefighter Corey Comperatore, who was shot while protecting his family.

Jeff Tiedrich, a liberal influencer, has also been stoking the flames. On his Substack, Tiedrich speculated, “Did the extreme right want this to happen?” suggesting a plot to replace [10] Trump with Michael Flynn.

MSNBC hosts have joined in, with Michael Steele [12] questioning the plausibility of Trump’s injury from a high-caliber bullet. Joy Reid has been more vocal, expressing skepticism about the details [13] of Trump’s wound. “We still don’t know for sure whether Donald Trump was hit by a bullet,” she said on TikTok, implying the injury could have been caused by something else.

Joy mentioned glass fragments despite clear evidence that both teleprompters were fully intact after Trump was shot

Speaking of shattered glass, former CNN reporter John Harwood also chimed in, stating that an AR-15 bullet would have caused more damage to Trump’s ear, suggesting a shard of glass as a more plausible cause.

how often have AR-15 bullets “pierced” part of someone’s body, “ripping through the skin,” while leaving the body part intact and without serious injury?

on the other hand it’s easy to imagine a shard of shattered glass causing the bleeding Trump suffered

Amid these baseless claims, legitimate questions about the Secret Service’s handling of the incident remain. GOP leaders are calling for the resignation of Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle [20] after it was revealed that agents had spotted the gunman on the roof ten minutes before Trump took the stage.

Cheatle defended the decision not to secure the roof due to its slope.

They admitted the roof was a vulnerability and instead of putting guys on it, they put them inside the building. What good is that?
