Following an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania, a conspiracy theory [1] has gained traction among Democrats, suggesting the shooting was staged for a photo op.
REPORT: 34% of Biden voters think Donald Trump staged his own assas*ination attempt according to a new Morning Consult poll.
The poll also proves that 34% of Democrats need to get their head checked.

Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, one-third of Democratic voters find this theory credible, according to a recent Morning Consult poll [4].
The poll revealed that 34 percent of Democrats believe the shooting was not intended to harm Trump, with 45 percent dismissing the theory. This phenomenon, dubbed “BlueAnon,” mirrors the QAnon conspiracy theory that once gripped parts of the Republican base.
Prominent Democratic figures and liberal media commentators have fueled these conspiracy theories. Dmitri Mehlhorn [5], a known Democratic powerbroker, wasted no time in promoting the idea that the shooting was a false-flag operation. “This is a classic Russian tactic, such as when Putin killed 300 civilians in 1999 and blamed it on terrorists to ride the backlash to winning power,” Mehlhorn wrote in a memo to reporters.
However, Mehlhorn conveniently ignored the numerous photos showing bullets narrowly missing Trump’s face and the blood from the bullet wound on his right ear. He also did not mention the tragic death of firefighter Corey Comperatore, who was shot while protecting his family.
A remarkable photo captured by my former White House Press Corps colleague Doug Mills.

This should silence the Left Wing Conspiracy Nuts who say the entire Trump shooting was staged. pic.twitter.com/E2tcmKsVcn [8]

Jeff Tiedrich, a liberal influencer, has also been stoking the flames. On his Substack, Tiedrich speculated, “Did the extreme right want this to happen?” suggesting a plot to replace [10] Trump with Michael Flynn.
