Yet, about a quarter of the way into her 4-minute talk, Ashley stumbled over the widely recognized acronym representing sexual orientations and gender identities, blurting out "LGBCT" before quickly correcting herself with "LGBTQ."

Amidst the chuckles and snickers, a chorus of snark reigned on social media, with users quipping that verbal hiccups must surely be hereditary and suggesting that such incidents are simply 'in the family.'

Notably absent from the Pride Month celebration was Joe Biden, who was reported to be preparing for the upcoming debate with former President Donald Trump at his Camp David retreat in Maryland.
Despite Ashley's verbal stumble, she made sure to highlight her father's administration as "the most pro-equality administration in history" during her remarks.
