The incident occurred following reports of him pointing a gun at individuals in a McDonald’s parking lot near Northeast Andersen Road. After locating the suspect a few blocks away, police attempted to apprehend him, but he refused to comply with commands.
Subsequently, a K9 unit was released, and the suspect allegedly turned the gun towards law enforcement. In response, four officers fired back, resulting in the man being struck. Unfortunately, the K9 was also accidentally injured in the tail during the confrontation.
