California Wildfires Are Beyond Government Negligence
Drew Berquist and Tom Cunningham discuss the catastrophic wildfire disaster in California, highlighting poor leadership and budget cuts as significant contributing factors. Berquist mentions the fire department's LGBTQ Chief and DEI initiatives, but criticizes the mayor for cutting the fire budget by $17-23 million. Cunningham emphasizes the failure of ideology and accountability over generations. They both agree on the systemic negligence, citing Trump's comments on overgrown forests and the lack of forest management. The conversation underscores the severe consequences of these failures, with entire communities being wiped out, and the crisis being described as unprecedented and beyond negligence.

What’s especially sad is that the people in charge of preventing this calamity from occurring are so dense and mind-numbingly stupid, that you could tie them up and beat them with a rubber hose for a week but they still would not listen, or ever be convinced that anything they did (or didn’t do) was in any way wrong or misplaced, they have hardened their hearts so completely, believing that they are in the right, and no amount of backlash or termination from employment will ever cause them to see the error of their ways. Modern leftists view themselves as morally and intellectually superior, they are smug, arrogant and condescending, stubborn as mules, and proud of themselves for being anti- conservative. A recipe for disaster.
