John Stamos made it clear that fans should not expect to see him on “Dancing With the Stars” anytime soon, as reported by Page Six.
The actor revealed on “The Bobbycast” podcast that he’s been approached by producers about competing on the hit series “every single season,” but he always turns them down.
“What makes that show good is people suffering and looking like fools,” Stamos said during Tuesday’s episode.

He explained that he has no interest in enduring the physical toll the show can take on contestants. “They’re breaking their feet, calluses,” he told host Bobby Bones. “I don’t want that.”

Stamos, 62, even recalled telling producers to stop reaching out altogether. “I said, ‘Don’t ever ask me again,’” he explained. “I’m never gonna do that show.”
Bones, who won Season 27 of “Dancing With the Stars” in 2018 alongside Sharna Burgess, tried to change his mind by saying Stamos would “learn so much” from participating.
The “Full House” alum remained unconvinced and used Bones’ own win as a reason to stay away. He joked about Bones beating “Fuller House” star Juan Pablo Di Pace that season, despite Di Pace being a stronger dancer.
“That guy won that year, and you shouldn’t have won,” Stamos teased.

“Oh my God, that was an upset. That kid, he got 10s all across and then some jackass came in and beat him. That’s you? Oh my God, I’m done with this podcast.”
Laughing through the exchange, Stamos quipped that the show was “rigged,” continuing to playfully roast both the competition and Bones.
This is not the first time Stamos has publicly declined to participate. Back in 2010, he used social media to shut down similar rumors. “I’m not doing ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ Flattered to be asked,” he wrote on X, according to People.
He gave a straightforward reason for his refusal at the time: “I’m not a dancer. I’d put my foot in my mouth faster than John Mayer.” The comment was a lighthearted reference to his own lack of dance experience.
His 2010 post came in response to an invitation from former pro Karina Smirnoff, who had hoped to partner with him on the show.
Though Stamos has no desire to compete, he did once appear on “Dancing With the Stars” in a different capacity.
That same year, he joined The Beach Boys for a musical performance on the show, where the group delivered a medley of “California Girls,” “Kokomo,” and “Fun, Fun, Fun” while dancers performed on stage.

While Stamos remains one of Hollywood’s most recognizable television stars, he continues to keep his talents focused firmly off the ballroom dance floor.
