Several famous names are not attending the UFC Freedom 250 event scheduled for June 14 on the South Lawn of the White House. The event, which will feature seven fights, is reportedly being held in a temporary arena accommodating about 4,300 people.

According to Vanity Fair, invitations were extended to multiple high-profile celebrities. However, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Adam Sandler, Jared Leto, and Mario Lopez have all chosen not to attend despite being invited.

No information has been confirmed regarding Tom Brady, Guy Ritchie, and Jason Statham, who also reportedly received invitations for the same event. Their attendance remains uncertain.

Ticket distribution details were revealed by UFC CEO Dana White. He stated that President Donald Trump received 1,000 tickets, White himself had 200 tickets, and another 200 were allocated to Ariel Emanuel, CEO of the holding company that owns UFC.

Demand for the event is expected to be extremely high. The limited number of available seats has reportedly made tickets very difficult to obtain.

Vanity Fair’s Aidan McLaughlin described the scene surrounding the event as drawing attention from people in Washington. The publication stated that many are eager to attend as “a real draw for folks looking to curry favor in Trump’s Washington and for DC’s MAGA crowd.”

According to Vanity Fair, a large light fixture called “The Claw” has been built and now towers above the White House. The piece noted that it has become a source of delight for attendees described as part of the DC MAGA crowd.

McLaughlin also wrote that one group likely to avoid the event entirely consists of the major celebrities who have been invited. The report highlighted that these invitees may well steer clear despite the visibility of the occasion.

The reasons why Johnson, Sandler, and the others declined were not specified in the report. Speculative references included possibilities involving weather or insects, though no direct explanation was confirmed.

Additionally, the event is expected to draw approximately 85,000 people who plan to watch on big screens across the street. The scale of the event, according to reports, will make it one of the largest UFC gatherings ever held at that venue.

Paparrazi coverage for the evening might be relatively light given the absence of the larger-than-life personalities who were invited but are not attending. Reporters have noted that their absence may change the visual tone of the high-profile event.

As the date approaches, those confirmed to be in attendance remain under wraps, but organizers are moving ahead with preparations for what has been described as a history-making night at the White House.
