A federal grand jury has indicted two individuals in connection with the assault of Savanah Hernandez during a protest outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Minneapolis earlier this month, according to federal sources, as reported by Fox News.
The suspects were indicted Tuesday, sources told Fox News Digital, though their names have not yet been released. Officials indicated the indictment is expected to be unsealed later Wednesday.
The incident occurred April 11 outside the Whipple Federal Building, where a protest was taking place related to a local ICE field office that also serves as a detention facility. Video footage from the scene shows a group of protesters surrounding Hernandez as she attempted to move away.

The footage shows individuals blowing horns in front of her, yelling obscenities, and waving adult novelty products as she tried to shield herself and leave the area. Hernandez is seen backing away from the group and saying, “get away from me” to a protester who remained close to her.

Moments later, a protester pushed Hernandez, causing her to fall onto a wired fence. As the situation continued, Hernandez is heard yelling, “Stop touching me!” before another individual pushed her forward toward the ground.
Video shows Hernandez attempting to get up and leave as protesters continued to push her. She was knocked down again as the confrontation continued. At one point, Hernandez is heard shouting, “Leave me, I am trying to leave!”
I'm waking up with a headache and stiff neck this morning due to how violently anti-ICE activist, Chris Ostroushko, shoved me down yesterday. A second angle shows that he had to be held back by 5 men as he continued to charge at me. I didn't speak a word to him all day yet he… pic.twitter.com/LjDx1GMLnF
