McBride, the first openly transgender state senator in the country, addressed the exchange in a statement, saying, “I appear to live rent-free in the minds of some of my Republican colleagues. I wish that they would spend even a fraction of the time that they spend thinking about me, thinking about how to lower the costs on American families, figuring out how to actually make government work better. … The Republican Party is obsessed with culture war issues. It is weird, and it is bizarre.”

The comment came after Rep. Self, during a hearing, referred to McBride using male pronouns.
The moment quickly gained traction online, with supporters arguing Self was simply acknowledging biological reality, while McBride and others criticized it as an attack on transgender individuals.

How can someone who can’t even get their own act together do anything for the public they are supposed to represent? If a man actually thinks he is a woman, that sound like a mental aberration. If he thought he was a horse or a dog, people would think he had a mental problem. But in today’s world it’s OK to think you are another sex!
Is Sarah still biologically Tim in a dress? Wouldn’t that be “Mister”?
If this Congress person, cares about the people, he wouldn’t bring attention to himself he would act like he cares about the people instead what is in between his legs.
