As reported by The Gateway Pundit, the meme, now deleted along with her account, showed the inside of a refrigerator with two notable bottles: a champagne labeled with “Kamala Wins” on a Post-It, and a bottle of Drano tagged with “Trump Wins.”

The implications, particularly suggesting she might consider drinking Drano if Trump won, didn’t sit well with social media users.

As Trump’s victory became clear, with projections showing him securing 315 electoral votes and clinching the popular vote, the responses poured in.

This isn’t the first time celebrities like Midler have received pushback for melodramatic takes on politics. Yet, this time, the reactions seemed swift and resolute, particularly as many celebrated President Trump’s undeniable win.

The former president not only swept the electoral college but also claimed the popular vote, leaving critics in a state of disbelief. Among the most vocal were Midler’s followers, who seemed more than willing to hold her accountable for the over-the-top post.
