Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe took aim at the Democratic Party’s celebrity endorsements at former President Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday.

Hinchcliffe, who performed as an opening act at the rally, drew laughs as he likened Democratic supporters to “a Diddy Party,” referring to the many prominent figures who have voiced their support for Kamala Harris, from actors to athletes.

Vice President Kamala Harris speaks during a rally at Shell Energy Stadium on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024 in Houston, Texas.

Hinchcliffe highlighted celebrities, including rapper Eminem, NFL player Travis Kelce, and actor Leonardo DiCaprio, all of whom have expressed support for Harris’s campaign.

He joked, “Every day, the Democrat Party looks more like a Diddy Party!” DiCaprio, one of those noted by Hinchcliffe, recently faced scrutiny over past ties to Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was recently charged in New York with trafficking and related allegations, all of which he has denied.

The comedian’s appearance was part of a packed evening that included remarks from prominent conservative figures and Trump family members.

The former president was introduced by his wife, former First Lady Melania Trump, who made her first campaign appearance of this election cycle.

The event drew thousands of supporters to Madison Square Garden as Trump and his allies rallied support ahead of what is expected to be a closely contested election.

Hinchcliffe’s comedy set also took aim at Kelce, joking about the NFL star’s relationship with pop star Taylor Swift, comparing it in jest to the publicized relationship of O.J. Simpson.

Trump’s Sunday rally at Madison Square Garden brought out a crowd eager to hear from a roster of high-profile speakers.

In addition to Hinchcliffe, speakers included Senator J.D. Vance, Dr. Phil McGraw, WWE icon Hulk Hogan, UFC President Dana White, and media personality Tucker Carlson, each addressing various policies of Kamala Harris.

Trump’s speech was part of a last-minute push across key states, with the former president and Kamala Harris intensifying their outreach as Election Day nears.

Meanwhile, Harris campaigned in Pennsylvania and debuted a new 'pasor' accent, a pivotal swing state likely to play a decisive role in the election outcome.

With only nine days remaining, polls indicate a tight race between the two candidates nationwide.
