CNN was caught in hot water recently after using "digitally altered" photos of former President Donald Trump and conservative activist Laura Loomer. The network was forced to issue an on-air retraction following multiple segments where the fake images were displayed.

CNN, in typical fashion, initially aired the images on Friday and Saturday without any verification, showing them in a number of segments. Loomer quickly caught on and exposed the misleading visuals, as reported by Breitbart.

Loomer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a video of CNN’s retraction. The retraction was delivered by none other than Anderson Cooper's team.

In the video, the CNN host admitted, "Friday evening and on Saturday, CNN aired a number of segments that briefly showed an image of former President Donald Trump and Laura Loomer taken from social media. On review, this image had been digitally altered by a third party and should not have been included. We regret the error."

Loomer wasn't satisfied with the apology, which was made by a CNN colleague and not Cooper himself. In another post, she slammed Anderson Cooper for sending a female colleague to apologize on his behalf.

"How much of a coward do you have to be to use fake pics to defame me and @realDonaldTrump and then not apologize yourself?" Loomer wrote on X. Her frustration was evident, and she didn’t hold back.

She warned CNN that if they didn’t issue a formal retraction in writing on X and apologize directly, there would be legal consequences. “If you do not issue a retraction in writing on X for showing fake and photoshopped pics of me and President Trump in an effort to spew a sick, misogynistic, and defamatory attack against me, I will sue you,” Loomer warned.

She’s clearly not one to be messed with, promising legal action against CNN and even bringing comedian Bill Maher into the mix. It seems Loomer is tired of the leftist media’s antics, and she’s ready to fight back in court if need be.

The real issue here is CNN's sloppy journalistic standards. Once again, they've shown their willingness to use any tool available—even fake photos—to push their agenda against conservatives. The left-wing media outlet’s use of altered images to mislead their audience raises serious questions about credibility. Loomer’s strong response signals that conservative figures are no longer standing by and letting biased media outlets run roughshod over them.
