CNN’s Harry Enten has a stern warning for Democrats and Kamala Harris supporters: it’s too soon to celebrate.

First, Enten highlighted a recurring issue with polling: pollsters have consistently underestimated Donald Trump’s support.

This wasn’t a fluke; in both 2016 and 2020, polls missed the mark by 9 points and 5 points respectively in crucial swing states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

Second, Trump’s popularity is at an all-time high. Enten noted that this fact, even reported by the New York Times, seems to be downplayed.

Despite Kamala Harris’s apparent success in boosting the Democrats’ fundraising and voter enthusiasm, she hasn’t made a significant impact on the number of committed voters. That figure has remained static at around 62-61 percent since May.

Given these factors, Enten warns that Trump is in a strong position for the upcoming election.
