Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has taken action to get answers on the attempted assassination of President Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania last weekend.

In a letter sent to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Friday, Senator Hawley demanded to know why a majority of security officials were not even trained as Secret Service personnel but rather part of the Homeland Security Investigations team.

According to Senator Hawley, whistleblowers have come forward with information that raises serious questions about the event's security. "My office has received disturbing reports from whistleblowers alleging that a number of federal officials tasked with securing the rally were not trained as Secret Service personnel,” he wrote. “This raises serious concerns about the policies and procedures in place at DHS and other federal agencies tasked with protecting the President and other high-level officials."
Senator Hawley went on to write that government officials treated the assassination attempt as a “loose” security event, adding that canine units were not used at entry points to detect threats. "It is deeply concerning that individuals without the necessary training or experience to protect the President were put in charge of his safety," he wrote.

shit, i worked as an armed security guard years ago for pinkertons. i bet that i and the rest of us had more training that those bufoons that were at the rally.we would have done major assessments of the areas that those fools didn’t do.the rooftops would have been manned, all of them.any high point also, there would have been roving units, with dogs.trump would been behind a bullitproof glass screen.but other things for his protection.
