United Airlines Flight 762, traveling from Miami to Newark, was forced to land in Orlando due to a violent outburst by an unidentified passenger. According to an eyewitness, the ordeal began when the passenger was unable to access the plane's bathroom, causing her to become agitated and verbally abusive towards a nearby family.

After being moved to a different seat, the passenger's aggressive behavior escalated further, with her physically assaulting a flight attendant. The crew's attempts to de-escalate the situation using zip-ties proved ineffective, leading to greater disruptions on the plane. Ultimately, the crew's decision to divert to Orlando allowed law enforcement to remove the unruly passenger from the plane for medical evaluation.
