On Saturday morning, gunfire erupted at the Game X Change store on Dixie Highway in Louisville, Kentucky, as a shooting incident resulted in a fatality and injuries.
The Louisville Metro Police responded to a call just before 11:30 a.m. reporting a shooting in the 8800 block of Dixie Highway, the location of the Valley Station Game X Change store.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered two men with gunshot wounds. One of the individuals succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the other was rushed to UofL Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. The names and ages of the individuals involved have yet to be revealed.

The store manager revealed that the violent encounter stemmed from an attempted robbery at the Game X Change. A witness emphasized the suspicious nature of the assailants’ attire, donning hoodies, sunglasses, and face masks despite the scorching weather.
The Louisville Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the incident, and all those involved in the shooting have been located. At present, there is no indication of potential charges, and the identity of the deceased remains undisclosed as the investigation unfolds.
