An intense manhunt ensued following an officer-involved shooting in Hillsdale County, Michigan. The Michigan State Police (MSP) reported the incident occurred near Beecher Road and Lamb Road, where a Hillsdale County Deputy was shot and subsequently transported to the hospital. Later, they provided an update on the suspect.

The Michigan State Police released an additional update that the suspect was in custody and there was no longer a threat to the public.

News 10 journalists on the scene reported hearing several gunshots during the search, but it is currently unknown if anyone was hit.
