In a recent segment of "Battleground LIVE," Sean Parnell took aim at President Joe Biden's remarks about the Second Amendment, debunking the President's gun control arguments and highlighting his repeated misinformation. Parnell criticized Biden for inconsistencies and falsehoods, while Biden emphasized the need to overcome the gun lobby's opposition to what he calls common-sense legislation.
Sean Parnell began by setting the stage for Biden's remarks. "Biden today, Joe Biden, the Father, the big guy, was set to speak at an Everytown for Gun Safety event, highlighting, which, to me, really does highlight the irony of the situation. Does it not? Listen to I wanted to start right at the top with Biden's remarks at this rally, but listen to him. Listen to him at this Everytown event, which is basically a group that is super anti-Second Amendment. But listen to Biden at this rally. This is one minute of his speech at the rally."
"This is crazy to me, because Joe Biden is a freaking tyrant of the highest order." - Sean Parnell
In the clip, President Joe Biden made several assertions that Parnell swiftly debunked.
Here's What They're Not Telling You About Your Retirement
Joe Biden (Fox News video clip): "We need you to overcome the unrelenting opposition of the gun lobby, gun manufacturers, so many politicians when they oppose common sense gun legislation. I used to be a law professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Before that, I taught a constitutional law class, and so I talked to the Second Amendment. There's never been a time that says you can own anything you want, and never you couldn't own a cannon during the Civil War. Think about it. How about you hear this phrase the blood of liberty? Wash your dough. Give me a break, seriously, by the way, if they want to think, to take on government, if we get out of line, which they're talking again about, guess what? They need, F-15s they don't need."
Sean Parnell was quick to point out the inaccuracies in Biden's statements. "So he says he was a professor at UPenn, which he never was—total lie. Said he taught a constitutional law class on the Second Amendment—never actually happened. Said that you couldn't own a cannon when the Second Amendment was implemented back, you know, in the days of our founders, which you could—it was totally legal. And then he failed at the end to say the words, the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots."
Parnell continued, emphasizing the significance of the Second Amendment in protecting individual freedoms. "Folks, listen, this is crazy to me, because Joe Biden is a freaking tyrant of the highest order. I mean, this is why the Second Amendment is so important. The founders added the Second Amendment into the Bill of Rights, into the Constitution, precisely because of people like Joe Biden."
He also mocked Biden’s claim about needing advanced military equipment to fight the government. "And what's interesting is that Joe Biden trots out the tired old line of, 'Well, if Americans don't like the government, they have to fight against F-16s.' Okay, tell that to the Taliban. Tell that to Afghanistan, where we were. I fought those guys over there for 16 months of heavy combat, and they seemed to do just fine against the United States military with AK-47s and belt-fed machine guns and maybe a couple of old pineapple grenades from the '70s."

Parnell then revealed a lesser-known fact about Biden's recent actions regarding state air forces. "But what's really interesting about Biden continuing to say that phrase, 'Well, you're going to need a heck of a lot more than ARs to fight against a government that has F-15s.' First of all, did you know? And this is from Amuse on Twitter, who's one of the great independent journalists of our time—I love this guy—but Biden is trying to nationalize state air forces. In other words, Biden, right now in the states of Texas, Florida, and Alabama, is trying to take control of their fixed-wing aircraft. All governors of those states oppose it. But isn't it interesting that Joe Biden says that in public, and then he's trying to do that with little to no media fanfare?"
Parnell concluded by stressing the importance of standing against Biden's overreach. "So I listen, I take this animated corpse at his word. I'm glad that the governors are opposing this."
