Today in the early morning,  a Guilford County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) deputy was shot during an incident in Oak Ridge, NC. The deputy was promptly transported to a local hospital and is now in stable condition, according to an official press release from Sheriff Danny H. Rogers.

The suspect involved in the shooting has been apprehended and also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Sheriff Rogers reassured the community that there is no ongoing threat.
