A Managing Director of a prestigious New York-based investment bank has found himself at the center of a scandal after allegedly assaulting a woman during the Brooklyn Pride festivities in Park Slope over the weekend. The shocking incident, captured on video and widely circulated on social media, shows the man delivering a violent overhand punch to the woman's face, causing her to fall to the ground in front of stunned onlookers.
Identified by social media users as Jonathan Kaye, the managing director leading the business services franchise at Moelis & Co., the assailant has sparked outrage and disbelief with his alleged aggressive behavior. The video, which has garnered nearly 5 million views, shows the woman clutching her injured face while collapsing just feet away from another individual lying on the pavement, presumably also injured.

In response to the incident, a spokesperson for Moelis & Co. acknowledged the seriousness of the matter, stating, "We have become aware that one of our employees was involved in a serious incident in Brooklyn on June 8. We take this matter very seriously and are conducting an investigation." However, the spokesperson did not confirm the identity of the employee in question or disclose any potential disciplinary actions being taken.
Jonathan Kaye, the alleged attacker, has remained silent amidst the escalating controversy, declining to comment when approached by The New York Post. The New York Police Department has not provided any additional information regarding the assault.

While the video does not capture the events leading up to the attack, it shows the assailant walking away in a visibly agitated state, with witnesses labeling him with derogatory terms. The accompanying text over the clip suggests that the woman suffered a broken nose, while another person had their arm injured during the altercation.
With an extensive professional background in the financial sector, Kaye has been overseeing the Global Business Services franchise at Moelis & Co. since 2013, following his prior role as the managing director of the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Citi Bank as reported by The New York Post.
The affluent lifestyle of the alleged attacker is highlighted by his residence in an upscale four-bedroom townhouse in Park Slope, valued at over $4 million. Situated just blocks away from the renowned Ginger's Bar, a cherished establishment in the local LGBT community, the location of the assault adds a chilling layer to the incident.
The altercation unfolded amid the vibrant celebrations of the 28th annual Brooklyn Pride Multicultural Festival, where thousands gathered in Park Slope to partake in a day-long event, including a 5K run and a colorful parade along Fifth Avenue. The disturbing nature of the assault has cast a shadow over the festivities, prompting calls for accountability and justice in the wake of this troubling incident.

What led up to the attack? Context is everything. Perhaps her actions led to her predicament. Guess we’ll never know the whole story so let’s just make this guy the bad guy to make a gripping headline.
He said what she did prior to him throwing the punch but I couldn’t make it out because of crosstalk from another individual telling him to go f himself.
