Another self-declared refugee from “Trump’s America” has discovered [1] that reality does not bend to the woke imagination.
The man, who insists he is a woman, high-tailed it out of the United States in protest of President Donald Trump’s supposed tyranny.
He landed in the Netherlands, expecting a progressive wonderland of tolerance and inclusion.
What he found instead was fear, danger, and the bitter fruit of the left’s borderless ideology.
Leftists have long promised themselves and their followers that a country free from Trump’s influence would resemble a utopia of acceptance and free expression.
For years, many progressives have threatened to flee the United States rather than endure another minute of conservative leadership.
Of course, most never leave because deep down they know what they’re saying is nonsense.
They enjoy America’s safety, order, and freedoms, even as they scream that the nation is descending into fascism.
This particular traveler, however, actually packed up and left. He sought a more “inclusive” home in the Dutch town of Ter Apel, an area known for taking in massive numbers of migrants.
In his mind, Europe was everything Trump’s America was not: open borders, no judgment, endless diversity.
The left loves to call that progress. He just didn’t expect progress to include being terrorized by the very people his political allies demanded Europe welcome with open arms.
A recently circulated video captured his disillusionment perfectly. Standing beside a female Dutch interviewer, the large
American in a floral blouse towered over her, explaining that his new neighborhood was overrun with young Algerian and Moroccan men who believed that “queer people should be beaten.”
He lamented, “I think this system where you have people just living out here that are unhappy is not good.”
A nearby group of men loomed, shifting and glaring, the tension quite clear.
The interviewer then asked one of those men whether he felt safe in the area.
He replied, “No, I don’t think it’s safe here,” his thick accent laying bare his outsider status.
The irony was almost poetic.
Both the self-described woman and the migrant admitted the streets are unsafe, each a product of leftist policies that have turned once stable towns into chaotic melting pots of cultures that simply do not mix.
The American continued, admitting bluntly, “Oh, it’s scary. It’s legitimately scary. I decided that my mental health is degrading so substantially being here, that I just need to get out, and the situation I have in the U.S. as a trans person, not good, right? But here I will be hurt or killed.”

That single quote spoke volumes.
After years of left-wing propaganda about the horrors of Trump’s America, this man learned that the real danger lurks in the multiculturally engineered enclaves of Europe.
Trump’s America may bruise some liberal egos, but it remains one of the safest, freest, most prosperous nations in history.
Yet the activists calling themselves “tolerant” seem determined to flee it for lands that embody an ideology built on feelings rather than facts.
In this case, he swapped a country that protects dissent for one where dissenters get assaulted in the street by migrants imported under the banner of diversity.
This incident sheds light on a deeper truth that the progressive establishment refuses to face.
The same leftists who push mass migration for the sake of “compassion” are importing cultures that reject the very values they claim to defend. A conservative Christian baker gets dragged through the courts for refusing to participate in a same-sex wedding, while Europe is busy importing men who think every gay person deserves to die. The contradiction is staggering.
The Netherlands, once a nation of order and civic pride, has become overrun with migrant crime and social tension, thanks to policies virtually identical to what American progressives are demanding for our southern border.
What happened to this man was not random; it was the natural outcome of unchecked globalism and virtue signaling in place of common sense.
Yet the left never learns. They double down, insisting that if we just let in more migrants, throw more taxpayer dollars at “diversity programs,” and silence more critics, paradise will somehow arrive.
Meanwhile, Europeans lock their doors before sunset, and refugees from the progressive dream are forced to admit that Trump may not have been the problem after all.
This story is not about gender identity as much as it is about ideology colliding with reality.
The man in that floral blouse is discovering, painfully, what conservatives have warned for years: the world is not as safe or tolerant as progressive elites pretend.
Cultures matter. Borders matter. Western civilization cannot survive by importing illiberalism and pretending it is compassion.
Whether this unfortunate traveler managed to flee Ter Apel and find safety somewhere else remains unclear.
What is clear is that leftists’ fantasy of a borderless, multicultural paradise crumbles under its own contradictions.
As it turns out, “Trump’s America” is still the best place on earth to live free, even for those who don’t realize it yet.
