Federal authorities arrested a 33-year-old member of the Latin Kings gang after government property was allegedly stolen from an FBI vehicle vandalized during unrest in Minneapolis on Wednesday night, officials said, as reported by Fox News.
Raul Gutierrez was taken into custody on Thursday following a joint operation involving the Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
Authorities identified Gutierrez as a member of the Latin Kings with a violent criminal history. Investigators allege he removed federal property from an FBI vehicle that had been broken into during the disturbance.

The FBI said multiple federal vehicles were vandalized and burglarized late Wednesday while agents were responding to what was initially reported as an assault on a federal officer in Minneapolis.
According to the agency, federal property was stolen from the vehicles during the incident.
“One individual who allegedly stole federal government property out of an FBI vehicle in Minneapolis last night has been arrested,” FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on X.
Patel noted that the suspect is a known Latin Kings gang member with a record of violent crimes. “FBI personnel are continuing to pursue other subjects involved. There will be more arrests.”

The vandalism and alleged theft occurred amid protests in Minneapolis tied to immigration enforcement actions and confrontations between agitators and federal law enforcement.
Authorities said the unrest unfolded as agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Department of Homeland Security, and other federal agencies were operating in the area.
White House Border Czar Tom Homan addressed the arrest on Thursday during an appearance on “The Ingraham Angle,” saying the individual who allegedly stole a firearm from an FBI vehicle was now in custody.
“Others are coming,” Homan said. “They're gonna be held accountable.”
The FBI confirmed that the arrest followed damage to a federal vehicle in the northeast section of Minneapolis. Video circulating online showed vandalized federal vehicles and graffiti at the scene.
Officials said multiple federal agencies are continuing to work together to identify and apprehend others involved.
Authorities have not yet released a complete list of charges against Gutierrez, who was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 15. Federal prosecutors, along with agents from the ATF and DOJ, carried out the operation that led to his arrest.
The FBI and Department of Justice said investigations into the Minneapolis unrest and the vandalism of federal vehicles remain ongoing.
Officials indicated additional arrests are expected as investigators continue pursuing those connected to the disturbance and the theft of government property.

No way all these protesters are otherwise peaceful ordinary citizens. These people are radical professional criminals. They should be interrogated to determine where they live and their finances checked to see how they manage to riot for weeks with no visible means of support. Sources of funding must be determined and hut down. These people are directly attacking the government, regardless of Democrat and MSM support. The left wing Democrats cannot deal with losing power. They are creating chaos to try to unseat the elected government and must be stopped. Radical judges and DAs must be fired!
This is anarchism pure and simple.
Send in the National Guard to clean this up and jail all involved.
Close the city down put a curfew and send in the guards
