Former Vice President Kamala Harris announced plans to launch a new political action committee titled “Fight for the People,” outlining an effort she says will allow her to travel, speak publicly, and support Democratic candidates through fundraising, as reported by Breitbart.
The announcement was delivered through a mass fundraising text message sent under the subject line “My Decision – Kamala Harris.”
In the message, Harris described her reasoning for creating the PAC and appealed to supporters for early financial backing ahead of an initial Federal Election Commission reporting deadline.

“I have tried not to send any fundraising texts since the last election,” Harris wrote, “but I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about how I have decided to approach this moment in time — and why I hope you’re still with me in this fight.”
Harris cautioned supporters against viewing recent political developments as disorderly.
“Some people are describing what’s been happening in recent months as absolute chaos. And of course, I understand why. But, please let us not be duped into thinking everything is chaos. What we are witnessing is a swift implementation of an agenda that has been decades in the making,” she wrote.
The former vice president said the PAC would serve as a platform for sustained political engagement. “I am going to travel, speak out, and help elect Democrats everywhere, and I cannot do this alone,” Harris stated.

She emphasized the importance of early fundraising, adding, “Donations are going to be critical. Especially before our first FEC fundraising deadline ends in a few days and we’re legally required to report what we’ve raised. Everyone will be watching, and I hope to file a big report.”
The message concluded with a fundraising link and a personal sign-off: “Knowing you are still with me in this fight means a lot. – Kamala.”
The PAC launch comes as Harris continues to maintain a public presence following her unsuccessful 2024 presidential campaign.
She has recently appeared in various media settings, including an interview on the Rich Little Brokegirls podcast, where she offered dating advice.

During that appearance, Harris told listeners to “be kind to yourself and choose to be with someone who is kind,” and referenced relationships in terms of a “Friday night” versus “Sunday morning” phase.
Those appearances have coincided with a national tour promoting her memoir, 107 Days. Harris has focused on the book tour rather than addressing questions about a possible 2028 presidential run.
Earlier this month, Harris also drew attention during a Dec. 18 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she addressed the Biden administration’s handling of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
“We strongly and rightly believed that there should be an absolute separation between what we wanted as an administration and what the Department of Justice did,” Harris said.
That response prompted criticism from commentators across the political spectrum.
Some left-leaning figures argued the administration should have taken a more aggressive stance, while conservative commentators cited her remarks as reinforcing claims of coordination between the Biden White House and the Department of Justice in legal actions involving President Donald Trump.
During the same interview, Harris said she had not spoken to Joe Biden in “about three or four weeks” and acknowledged she did not receive the support she needed from “certain places in the administration” during her 2024 campaign.
With the creation of “Fight for the People,” Harris is positioning herself for continued involvement in Democratic politics as party leaders and donors look ahead to upcoming election cycles.

Best thing she could do for the people is NOT RUN
She spent 1.8 billion dollars on her failed campaign in 2024. It’s not funny, that amount of money was just beyond the pale. Democrats got nothing for it, she lost, mainly because she was and is a shitty candidate. She has nothing even to this day that can or will excite anyone to vote for her, much less her future VP candidate. This like in 2024 is a wasted attempt to see her in the White House, it’s not going to happen then and certainly it won’t happen in 2028. People can’t stand her, that laugh is the most grating part of her, as is her dismal word salad speeches we were forced to listen too. Just please save us the embarrassment of her running again.
