14th Amendment Loophole Exposed as Thousands Cross the Border Every Day: DML [WATCH]

Commentator Dennis Michael Lynch raised concerns about what he described as a long-standing practice involving thousands of children who live in Mexico crossing the U.S. border daily to attend American public schools, arguing that the situation places a significant financial burden on American taxpayers and exploits existing laws.

In a narrated video clip, Lynch said the issue involves large numbers of children entering the United States each school day, receiving public education services, and then returning to Mexico afterward.

“Here’s something you probably do not know, over 10,000 kids who live in Mexico with their parents every single day cross over into the United States of America, go to school for free, and then at the end of the school day, go back to Mexico,” Lynch said.

“This happens every single day, with more than 10,000 kids that have taken advantage of the 14th Amendment. Well, those kids just went to school in Naco America, and now they’re going to go back to Naco, Mexico. How does that happen?”

The narrator accompanying the video explained how residency requirements are allegedly bypassed.

“All you need is a PO Box. Nobody checks it, and if you don’t reside in the country, you don’t have any business going to our schools unless you pay tuition, and none of them are paying tuition,” the narrator said.

Lynch said he has personally observed the situation and described the scope of services provided to these students.

“Now, I’ve seen it firsthand. It is sickening. We’re providing bussing. We’re providing everything to these kids, school lunches,” Lynch said.

He went on to outline what he said is the financial impact of the practice, particularly in border states.

“Now this costs the American taxpayer, about $170 million on average, if you educate the kids from California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, where this is all happening now,” Lynch said.

According to Lynch, Texas has begun to change its approach by enforcing stricter residency verification and tuition requirements for non-resident students.

“Now, Texas has started to take a crackdown, finally on this, and saying, Hey, we’re gonna start doing audits, and if you want to send your kid here to the United States for school, you’re going to have to pay tuition,” he said.

Lynch said those changes have already led to measurable effects.

“And so what’s happened because of that is a lot of these kids have now said, Nope, I can’t go because my parents can’t pay the tuition. Now we are eliminating that cost from the American taxpayer,” he said.

He concluded by calling for broader action to end the practice nationwide.

“So by all means, let’s cut this nonsense off these kids should not be coming in here each and every single day. Enough is enough. Let’s take care of our own,” Lynch said.
