Vice President JD Vance announced Sunday that he will host The Charlie Kirk Show from the White House on Monday as a tribute to his late friend, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, as reported [1] by The Gateway Pundit.
Kirk, 31, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated by a sniper while speaking at Utah Valley University last Wednesday.
Following the attack, Vance and his wife, Usha [2] Vance, traveled to Salt Lake City to meet with Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, and accompanied Kirk’s casket back to his home state aboard Air Force Two.

Vance also published a lengthy statement on X reflecting on his friendship with Kirk. He recalled their first encounter in 2017 after an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program, when Kirk sent him a direct message praising his performance.
According to Vance, that exchange marked the beginning of a close relationship.
“Charlie was fascinated by ideas and always willing to learn and change his mind. Like me, he was skeptical of Donald Trump in 2016. Like me, he came to see President Trump as the only figure capable of moving American politics away from the globalism that had dominated for our entire lives,” Vance wrote.
