Television host and former model Camille Anderson was assaulted and robbed by several men while walking with a friend in Beverly Hills on August 16, according to police and her own account of the incident, as reported by The New York Post.
Anderson, 47, best known as the host of “Selling Mega Mansions” and for her appearance in the 2005 film Wedding Crashers, was attacked near the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Canon Drive around 9 p.m.

She described the assault in an Instagram post, saying the suspects emerged from an alleyway and lunged at her.
“I could see someone in the alleyway. I didn’t think much of it and it happened so quickly. They lunged at me and tried to take my purse. I tensed up. It was just my natural reaction,” Anderson told KTLA.

She said when the men failed to grab her purse during the first attempt, they threw her forcefully to the ground. “Like my body slammed into the ground,” Anderson recounted.
After the attack, the suspects fled in a waiting getaway car. Anderson’s screams alerted bystanders, who called 911. Within 10 minutes, Beverly Hills police located and arrested three suspects.
The suspects were identified as Vlad Oganisyan, 23, Razmik Papikyan, 25, and Grigoryan Vahagn, 45. All three were booked on felony charges and bonded out of jail the following morning, according to jail records.

Their cases remain under investigation, with potential charges including robbery and conspiracy.
Police brought Anderson and her friend to the location of the arrests, where she positively identified the suspects. Authorities are still investigating whether additional individuals acted as lookouts on the night of the robbery.
“I do think they possibly had a lookout, whether they were across the street or near the restaurant where we dined,” Anderson told KTLA. “Maybe someone kept an eye on us. I don’t think it was about me in particular, but just the fact that I had a nice purse on and a watch.”
Anderson escaped with minor scrapes and bruises. She later thanked the Beverly Hills Police Department for their rapid response. “Beverly Hills police were extremely proactive and acted at lightning speed. THANK YOU,” she wrote on Instagram.
She also expressed frustration with rising violent crime in Los Angeles. “I just want to get this message out there to take safety so seriously in Los Angeles. It’s a really big problem,” she said. “I’ve now been mugged in Beverly Hills, I can say. That’s so sad.”
Anderson praised newly elected Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman for his commitment to tougher prosecution of violent crime since taking office in December 2024.
“We have an amazing new DA that takes this very seriously. Very tough on crime, hopefully a lot tougher. Let’s see how this goes in the coming weeks,” she said.
The 1998 Miss Austin USA winner, who has lived in Los Angeles for many years, said she has witnessed the city’s changes firsthand. She urged others to recognize the seriousness of the problem.
“How can we keep this from happening in the first place? Because I was lucky enough to walk away with some scrapes and bruises. But the next person may not be that lucky. In fact, people have recently been held up at gunpoint. Please, make this a bigger conversation,” Anderson said.
