The boating incident occurred around 3 p.m., when emergency services were alerted to 10 individuals in the water following the capsizing of a 27-foot gold Chris-Craft vessel. The U.S. Coast Guard responded to the call alongside local fire and law enforcement agencies.

According to the Coast Guard, the boat was caught in high winds exceeding 34 mph and swells between 6 and 8 feet.
