A criminal defense attorney who represented Jeffrey Epstein shortly before his death has come forward to refute recent allegations implicating President Donald Trump in Epstein’s scandal, as reported [1] by The Gateway Pundit.
Attorney David Schoen, who represented Epstein just nine days before the convicted sex offender was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell in August 2019, stated publicly that Epstein never implicated Trump in any wrongdoing.

“I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!” Schoen wrote in a post on X.
I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defense as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died. He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!

Schoen’s statement was posted Thursday evening, just hours after tech mogul Elon Musk publicly clashed with President Trump over policy disagreements and then escalated the conflict by insinuating Trump’s involvement with Epstein.
Musk had been openly critical of Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” (OBBB), a policy package focused on reducing taxes, curbing trade deficits, keeping Democrats out of power, and promoting American job growth.
In response to Musk’s ongoing criticism of the bill, President Trump fired back, leading to an intensifying public exchange between the two high-profile billionaires.

Musk escalated [3] matters by sharing a 1992 video clip of Trump and Epstein at a Mar-a-Lago event that featured NFL cheerleaders.
Following the footage, Musk posted a cryptic message:
“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump [4] is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
“Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”

Schoen, however, swiftly countered the narrative. In addition to his statement about Epstein’s comments regarding Trump, he also reposted a message from longtime Trump ally Roger Stone.
In that message, Stone wrote: “I can tell you unequivocally as someone who would know that President Trump never did anything wrong with Jeffrey Epstein.” Schoen added his support by reposting it with agreement.

The renewed speculation around Epstein’s ties to high-profile figures comes as debates flare over Trump’s proposed legislation, which has divided business leaders and prompted reactions from political allies and opponents alike.
Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his jail cell on August 10, 2019, in what was officially ruled a suicide. His connections to various global elites, including former President Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew, have remained a source of ongoing public and legal scrutiny.
No formal evidence has ever surfaced implicating President Trump in Epstein’s criminal activities, and Schoen’s statements mark the first public comments by Epstein’s legal team that directly address this matter.
