Conservative commentator Rogan O’Handley is raising concerns about what he describes as a calculated strategy by Democrats to manipulate the 2030 census and secure long-term political power through mass illegal immigration.
O’Handley, known online as “DC Draino,” claims that Democrats are intentionally allowing millions of illegal aliens into the United States to influence congressional apportionment and the Electoral College.
“This is about the 2030 census, okay, and this is about their overall plan to take over the country by flooding this country with illegal aliens,” O’Handley said.

According to O’Handley, the current surge in illegal immigration—over 10 million under the Biden-Harris administration alone—is not just a border crisis, but a long-term political maneuver.
He argues that Democrats are willing to absorb the short-term political costs of mass illegal immigration because of the strategic gains it offers in congressional seat distribution and electoral votes.
“They knew that allowing in 10 million illegal aliens under Joe Biden was going to cost them politically,” he said.
“But guess what? They see it as a one way ratchet, and as long as they can keep getting more and more illegal aliens, eventually they’re either going to get amnesty or they don’t even need amnesty, because it all comes down to apportionment.”

O’Handley pointed to the 2019 U.S. Supreme Court decision that mandated the inclusion of all individuals, regardless of immigration status, in the decennial census.
The ruling, he said, handed Democrats a powerful tool to inflate representation in blue states.
“Now think about this. Every 10 years they take the census, and congressional seats and Electoral College votes are apportioned based on where the populations are, and as we saw in 2019 the Supreme Court ruled in a five, four decision with Justice Roberts, saying that illegal aliens could not be excluded from the census,” O’Handley stated.
“Think about that. Okay, this quote, unquote, conservative Supreme Court said you have to count every human being in your jurisdiction.”
The implications, he said, are staggering.
“That leads to not only the 10 million that came under Biden, not only the probably 20 million that have come in over the previous two decades, that equates to about 30 to 40 congressional seats and electoral votes that are currently being held by Democrats that should otherwise be in the hands of Republicans,” he said.
Looking ahead to the next census, O’Handley warned that if illegal immigration levels remain unchanged, states like California, New York, and Illinois will experience a loss of congressional representation, shifting power to red states.
“In this next census, 2030, if the numbers stay as they are right now, California is expected to lose two to four congressional seats in electoral college votes. It’s the same thing. New York is expected to lose two. Illinois is expected to lose one. Pennsylvania is expected to lose one. Oregon and Washington are expected to lose one, and almost all of those are going to safe red seats,” O’Handley said.
He also suggested this demographic shift could dramatically alter the electoral landscape by 2032.
“In the 2032 presidential race, the Republican candidate will not even need to win Pennsylvania, Wisconsin or Michigan. They can win the whole thing with just safe red states. Democrats know this,” he said.
O’Handley argued that after the COVID-19 lockdowns, many residents fled Democrat-led states. In his view, illegal immigrants were brought in as replacements to preserve political power.
“After COVID, when everyone fled their states, they replaced them with illegals right after the COVID lockdowns. So that is what this is about,” he said.
He warned that President Trump’s deportation efforts represent a direct threat to this strategy.
“They realize, Oh, crap, Trump is actually deporting millions of people. Every 740,000 illegal aliens deported, is a congressional seat that will flip back to Republicans,” O’Handley said.
He concluded by accusing Democrats of trying to block Trump’s immigration enforcement efforts for political gain.
“They know this, and they’re trying to gum up the machine as much as possible to stall and stop him so that they can acquire more power,” he said.
