The Trump White House press office has instituted a policy of not responding to reporters who include gender pronouns in their email signatures, citing concerns about trust and adherence to biological facts, as reported by Fox News.
New York Times reporter Michael Grynbaum reported that emails from journalists displaying their preferred pronouns have been rejected on at least three recent occasions by the administration’s press team.

The policy was confirmed by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who responded to a Times inquiry on a climate research observatory.
“As a matter of policy, we do not respond to reporters with pronouns in their bios.”

Grynbaum also referenced an incident involving Katie Miller, a senior adviser at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), who similarly declined to answer a question from a reporter whose email signature included pronouns.
“As a matter of policy, I don’t respond to people who use pronouns in their signatures as it shows they ignore scientific realities and therefore ignore facts.”
In a separate follow-up, she added, “This applies to all reporters who have pronouns in their signature.”

Leavitt expanded on the administration’s reasoning when questioned further by Grynbaum, saying:
“Any reporter who chooses to put their preferred pronouns in their bio clearly does not care about biological reality or truth and therefore cannot be trusted to write an honest story.”
Steven Cheung, the White House communications director, also commented to the Times on the matter.
“If The New York Times spent the same amount of time actually reporting the truth as they do being obsessed with pronouns, maybe they would be a half-decent publication,” Cheung said.

Grynbaum noted that similar rejections were experienced by reporters from other outlets. Crooked Media journalist Matt Berg reportedly ran a test by inserting pronouns into his signature to see whether the Trump press office would respond.
According to Grynbaum, Berg received a comparable dismissal.
“I find it baffling that they care more about pronouns than giving journalists accurate information, but here we are.”
The New York Times also released a statement addressing the situation:
“Evading tough questions certainly runs counter to transparent engagement with free and independent press reporting. But refusing to answer a straightforward request to explain the administration’s policies because of the formatting of an email signature is both a concerning and baffling choice, especially from the highest press office in the U.S. government.”
The White House reiterated its position to Fox News Digital, again sharing Leavitt’s earlier quote regarding reporters with pronouns in their bios.
The Trump administration has continued its focus on gender identity issues in its second term, including executive actions that ban transgender individuals from serving in the military, restrict trans women from participating in women’s sports, and remove gender identity language from federal documents.

Without pronouns who expects the truth from these pathological liars? Also, show me in the Constitution white it states any Federal official must speak to the press.
“runs counter to transparent engagement with free and independent press reporting”
Ridiculous statement from precisely those who do not to practise what they preach.
If “three strikes and you’re out” applied to twisted news, MSM would be barren wasteland.
Why does the democrat-MSM continue to play “make-believe” with the English language, by inserting meaningless “pronouns” that serve no purpose. It’s childish, unprofessional, and an insult to mature adult Americans. The phrase “grow-up” is appropriate here.
Karoline is correct. Anyone who doesn’t know there are only two sexes, and cant define a woman, can’t be trusted to tell the truth about anything of consequence.
I guess America has come full circle now. Women in politics who think they are equal to men have taken men’s jobs, wear pants, drive cars, vote, own property and have rights, but they do not want to talk to men who think that they are women now.
Like they say, if you don’t accept your born gender , how can you be trusted to report the truth.
