Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has not ruled out the possibility of military action against fentanyl labs in Mexico, stating that “nothing’s off the table” when it comes to defending U.S. sovereignty.
Hegseth made the remarks during a recent interview with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to securing the border and combating drug cartels.
When asked about the possibility of targeting fentanyl production sites in Mexico, Hegseth made it clear that all options are being considered.

“Anything is on the table. The commander-in-chief, ultimately, with my consultation and with the chairman and others, will make those determinations. But nothing’s off the table. Our sovereignty will be defended,” Hegseth said.
His message to drug cartels was direct: “We’re taking nothing off the table, nothing. We will do whatever it takes to secure the American homeland, to maintain our sovereignty and protect the American people.”
🚨 @SecDef Pete Hegseth just sent a STRONG message to the cartels:
“We’re taking nothing off the table. Nothing… we will do WHATEVER it takes to secure the American homeland, maintain our sovereignty, and protect the American people.”

The potential for military action against cartel operations comes as the Biden-era border crisis continues to be addressed under President Donald Trump’s administration, with increased focus on stopping illegal immigration and drug trafficking at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Hegseth made his remarks while visiting Guantanamo Bay, where President Trump has authorized the temporary detention of illegal aliens before their deportation.
The U.S. military base, known for holding 9/11 terrorist suspects such as Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, has also historically been used as a processing center for migrants and asylum seekers.
Currently, the base has 30,000 beds available for illegal aliens, though only about 25 individuals are being held there at this time.
Just last week, the facility housed 178 illegal immigrants before 177 were deported to Venezuela.
The Washington Post recently published claims from some illegal aliens who were sent back from Guantanamo, alleging they were held in inhumane conditions, confined in windowless rooms without bathrooms, and placed in solitary confinement.
Fox News reporters were given a tour of the Migrant Operations Center at Guantanamo Bay, where they observed the rooms designated for detainees.
The rooms contained six to eight bunk beds, a window, a fan, air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a separate bathroom.
When asked about the Post’s claims of mistreatment, Hegseth strongly dismissed them.
“That article was B.S. It is exactly what the ‘blame America first’ crowd will always do, which is try [to] mischaracterize our efforts, in order to impugn the motives of the president of the United States and his efforts to secure the American people. This idea that people are mistreated is absolute garbage,” he said.
Pete Hegseth just went OFF on the ACLU for trying to stop him from housing illegal immigrants at Gitmo:
“I say BULLSH*T to the ACLU! They want to make America look bad and undermine our Commander-in-Chief.”

In response to reports that lawyers are pushing for expanded legal rights for detained migrants, Hegseth stated that his focus remains on national security, not legal arguments.
“My job as secretary of defense is not to worry about what the lawyers are arguing. I’ve got my own set of lawyers there to give us the legal parameters, and we’re abiding by the law completely,” he said.
As the administration continues its crackdown on illegal immigration and cartel operations, discussions on potential military action against fentanyl labs in Mexico are expected to remain a central focus.

ACLU has been an Anti-American operation for decades. Its more like an Anti-White Anti American organization. I’d like to see a list of the cases they have filed over the years. They are the snake by the fireplace.
