Karma? Jon Stewart’s Biden Outrage Leaves Him Bloody and Embarrassed [WATCH]

Jon Stewart’s return to The Daily Show took a literal turn for the worse on Monday night when he accidentally [1] cut his hand while smashing a mug in frustration over Joe Biden’s handling of prescription drug prices.

During the episode, Stewart opened with a satirical segment in which he pretended to be an employee of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The bit included props such as a calculator and a mug that read “World’s Most Dad,” an apparent reference to DOGE chief Elon Musk and his growing family.

Stewart’s focus quickly turned to corporate subsidies, particularly those benefiting pharmaceutical companies.

He criticized Biden for touting his administration’s efforts to negotiate lower prices on just 10 prescription drugs.

“F**king thanks! Come on!” Stewart shouted as he slammed the mug onto his desk, causing it to shatter.

The screen behind him displayed footage of Biden, emphasizing the target of his frustration.

Initially, Stewart continued his monologue, but then grimaced as he glanced at his injured hand and quickly tucked it under the desk.

“I’ll be going to the hospital soon,” he quipped with an embarrassed smile.

Later in the segment, Stewart revealed his hand, prompting gasps from the audience as they saw blood on his fingers.

“It’s fine!” he reassured them, downplaying the injury.

Stewart later joked about the incident on social media, advertising the episode as a “bloody good” one.

“Emphasis on the bloody,” he wrote. “I’m an idiot.”

Despite the mishap, Stewart continued his criticism of government inefficiency, insisting that he “wants DOGE to work.”

“I want better efficiencies,” Stewart said, but argued that government officials were focusing on the wrong priorities.

“We are DOGEing in the wrong place if we want to really change the system,” he said, suggesting that more attention should be placed on limiting corporate influence rather than, in his words, using taxpayer dollars to “subsidize that treachery with our money.”

During the segment, Stewart also took a swipe at corporate greed, referencing hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs amid recent allegations against him.

“We’re getting f**ked at a Diddy party, and they’re making us buy the baby oil,” Stewart joked.

He closed out the segment by attempting to create a slogan for his vision of reform, inspired by President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign.

“Make America Not Governed In Obviously Negative —” Stewart began as the acronym “MANGION” appeared on the screen.

The phrase was just one letter away from the last name of Luigi Mangione, the man accused of killing a UnitedHealthcare executive in January.

Realizing the unintended reference, Stewart quickly backtracked.

“Oh! Abort, abort, abort,” he exclaimed. “I’m kidding, no vigilantes, but do something!”

Stewart’s latest return to The Daily Show has featured his signature blend of comedy and sharp political criticism, but Monday’s episode left him with more than just a few laughs—it also left him with a bloody hand.
