Authorities are investigating [1] the theft of military equipment, including three Humvees, from an Army Reserve Center in Tustin, California.
The theft occurred on Wednesday evening between 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., according to a press release from the Tustin Police Department.

The suspects gained access to the facility by cutting through a fence surrounding a military vehicle parking lot.
Once inside, they broke into multiple storage lockers, removing locks and taking a variety of military gear.
Police reported that while the suspects attempted to cut a lock to access uniform storage, they were unsuccessful.
Among the stolen items:
- One armored Humvee Model: M1151A1, ADMIN: HHC-06
- Two cloth-door Humvee Model: M1097s, ADMIN: HQ-61 and HQ-81
- Eight machine gun vehicle mounts
- Seven free-standing machine gun tripods
- Medical equipment
- 40 pairs of binoculars
- 18 bayonets
