During the traffic stop, a search of the suspects and their vehicle led to the discovery of items believed to be stolen from Burrow’s home, including “an old LSU shirt and Bengals hat,” as detailed in court documents.

Burrow, who led LSU to a national championship in 2019, resides in Hamilton County, Ohio, where the burglary took place.

Further investigation revealed that the suspects were in possession of tools commonly used by the South American Theft Group, known for targeting affluent homes.

The tools found corroborate the pattern seen in similar crimes.

The four men now face charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, participating in a criminal gang, possessing criminal tools, and obstructing official business.

This burglary is part of a broader spree targeting homes of professional athletes. Other victims include Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, Milwaukee Bucks’ Bobby Portis, Minnesota Timberwolves’ Mike Conley, Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic, and Pittsburgh Penguins’ Evgeny Malkin.

Court documents and arrest reports indicate that the Ohio State Highway Patrol and local law enforcement are actively pursuing leads to dismantle this crime ring, which appears to extend beyond Ohio’s borders.

The case continues to develop, with further legal proceedings expected. The Ohio State Highway Patrol has not released additional details regarding the ongoing investigation but has confirmed the arrests and charges against the four individuals involved in this high-profile burglary.
