Former President Donald Trump has won the state of Georgia in the 2024 presidential election, defeating Kamala Harris and claiming the state’s 16 electoral votes.
The race call comes from Decision Desk HQ, which has declared Trump the winner in the key battleground state.
Georgia, a historically Republican stronghold since 1984, turned into a competitive state in recent election cycles, drawing significant attention from both campaigns.

While Georgia’s political landscape has shifted toward the center, this win reinforced Trump’s support base in the South and added an essential boost to his electoral count.
Throughout the campaign, Trump and Harris invested heavily in Georgia, recognizing the state’s changing political dynamics.
Harris focused her outreach on urban centers like Atlanta and on expanding turnout among younger and minority voters.
