Conservative podcast host Megyn Kelly sharply criticized MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski after the pair revealed they met with President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

Kelly described Scarborough and Brzezinski as “dishonest jokes” and accused them of hypocrisy for engaging with Trump after years of attacking him on their program.

“Go f—k yourselves,” Kelly said during her podcast. “Go f—k yourselves, you dishonest jokes of faux journalists.”

The meeting between Scarborough, Brzezinski, and Trump came after the MSNBC co-hosts reached out for a “personal” sit-down with the president-elect.

On their Monday morning broadcast, the duo discussed their conversation with Trump, covering topics like political retribution, mass deportation, and abortion.

Kelly called the meeting a “farce,” pointing out that the pair had been vocal critics of Trump, frequently labeling him as a racist and a fascist during his campaign against Kamala Harris.

During her podcast, Kelly played clips from 2015 showing Scarborough supporting Trump during his first presidential campaign, even suggesting he might consider joining Trump’s ticket as vice president.

Kelly claimed Scarborough’s relationship with Trump soured after he realized he would not be considered for the role.

“They’re so disgusting,” Kelly said. “Joe Scarborough found out he was not gonna be the vice presidential running mate. He had been rejected for that position, and they turned on Trump because access to power is everything to that small, little man.”

Kelly also criticized the MSNBC hosts for their support of Joe Biden, questioning their judgment in light of widespread concerns about Biden’s cognitive fitness.

She argued that their credibility had already taken a hit due to their past defenses of Biden, despite his struggles during public appearances, including his widely criticized debate performance against Trump in June.

“Literally no one wants to see this fence mended,” Kelly said, referencing the renewed dialogue between Scarborough and Trump.

In response to criticism, Brzezinski defended the decision to meet with Trump, citing the president-elect’s overwhelming support in the 2024 election.

She acknowledged that many voters overlooked Trump’s controversies in favor of his policies.

“Joe and I realize it’s time to do something different, and that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him,” Brzezinski said during the broadcast.

Scarborough, a former congressman, clarified their stance, saying, “Don’t be mistaken, we are not here to defend or normalize Donald Trump.”
