Sean “Diddy” Combs’s legal team is raising serious allegations against federal agents, accusing them of raiding [1] the rapper’s jail cell and confiscating materials protected by attorney-client privilege.
The claims were outlined in legal documents filed Friday by Marc Agnifilo, Combs’s attorney, according to TMZ.

Agnifilo stated that sensitive defense notes, including information on witnesses and trial strategies for Combs’s upcoming trial in May, were allegedly taken during the search of his cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
These materials are reportedly now in the possession of trial prosecutors.
In the court filing, Agnifilo described the alleged seizure as “outrageous government conduct amounting to a substantive due process violation.”
The attorney argued that the search infringed upon Combs’s Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment rights, which protect against unreasonable searches and seizures, guarantee due process, and ensure the right to legal counsel.
Agnifilo also claimed that federal agents admitted to possessing the materials, some of which were allegedly used in a legal filing aimed at keeping Combs in custody.
The defense team has requested an immediate hearing to address the situation.
Agnifilo is seeking clarity on several issues, including who authorized the search, who determined which materials to seize, and who provided those materials to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Additionally, the attorney wants to know who decided to withhold details of the raid from Combs and his legal team.
Agnifilo is demanding accountability for what he says is a significant breach of due process and the integrity of the judicial system.
