Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, have reportedly left the United States and relocated to the UK in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory in the recent presidential election.

The couple, long-time residents of Montecito, California, are said to be selling their $27 million mansion to begin a new chapter abroad, according to sources cited by The Wrap.
Sources close to the couple told TMZ that DeGeneres, 66, and de Rossi, 51, felt “very disillusioned” following President-elect Trump’s win over Kamala Harris.

The couple decided to “get the hell out” of the country shortly after the election results were announced, the reports claim.
DeGeneres, a prominent supporter of Harris, had been vocal in her endorsement of the vice president.
In August, she posted on Instagram, “There’s nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!! I can’t wait for @KamalaHarris to be our next president.” DeGeneres also reportedly contributed $3,300 to Harris’s campaign.

DeGeneres and de Rossi are now residing in the Cotswolds, a picturesque region in South West England known for its affluent residents and historic charm.
The area, located roughly two hours from London, is home to several high-profile figures, including David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Elizabeth Hurley, and Jeremy Clarkson.
Additionally, King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Highgrove House is situated nearby in Gloucestershire.
The couple was recently spotted enjoying their new surroundings.
Last week, they visited Clarkson’s pub, The Farmer’s Dog, where they were seen sipping drinks and listening to live music.
Lisa Hogan, Clarkson’s girlfriend, shared a clip of the visit on Instagram, showing the pair appearing relaxed in their new environment.

DeGeneres and de Rossi have long been known for their extensive real estate investments, particularly in Southern California.
Their Montecito mansion, purchased in 2019 for $27 million, was situated near their close friends Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
DeGeneres, whose net worth is estimated at $370 million, has reportedly made the decision to leave the U.S. permanently, with sources suggesting the couple will likely “never” return on a full-time basis.
DeGeneres is not the only celebrity to leave the U.S. following Trump’s election victory.
Last week, Eva Longoria revealed she and her family had moved to Mexico and Spain.
The Desperate Housewives star cited political and social factors, including homelessness, high taxes, and Trump’s win, as reasons for her departure.
“The shocking part is not that he won,” Longoria said in an interview with Marie Claire. “It’s that a convicted criminal who spews so much hate could hold the highest office. If he keeps his promises, it’s going to be a scary place.”
Longoria, who actively campaigned for Harris and her running mate Tim Walz, also reflected on her decision to leave California, saying, “The vibe was different… it just feels like this chapter in my life is done now.”

Great! I hope more of the loser woke crowd leave. Maybe Hollywood can relocate to the UK. That would upgrade the intellectual quotient in California.
Obviously during the long stay in montecito they never ever entertain the idea of putting up some of the immigrants pouring through the border or, even better, now that it’s empty, bequeathing it to them. Degenerate
