Authorities in Little Rock, Arkansas, are investigating a shooting that occurred [1] on Black Friday afternoon at the Park Plaza Mall.

Mark Edwards, a spokesperson for the Little Rock Police Department, told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident.
Edwards stated, “I haven’t heard of any fatalities. I’ve heard maybe a couple of non-life-threatening injuries, but nothing fatal.”

In response to the incident, Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. issued a statement condemning the actions of those involved.
