Actress Nicole Kidman recently revealed that filming the upcoming erotic thriller Babygirl became so intense at times that she had to stop production.

The 57-year-old actress, known for her bold performances, portrays a workaholic CEO named Romy, who becomes entangled in an affair with a young intern in the film.
In an interview with The Sun published on October 22, Kidman described the emotionally and physically charged scenes as overwhelming.

In one of the film’s more provocative scenes, Kidman’s character strips naked and performs a controversial act, lapping milk from a saucer while stuffing her employee’s tie in her mouth.
The scene, which generated buzz even before the film’s release, was reportedly too intense for Kidman. "It’s like, ‘Don’t touch me,’" Kidman told The Sun, explaining how she felt during the filming of the steamy sequences.
Kidman admitted that the simulated sex scenes took a toll on her. “There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more,’” she said.
The intensity of the film's themes, particularly surrounding her character’s desire to be dominated in the bedroom, added to the challenge.

In Babygirl, Kidman’s character Romy is married to Jacob, played by Antonio Banderas. However, she embarks on an affair with a young intern, Samuel, portrayed by Harris Dickinson.
Samuel’s character, who takes control in their relationship, tells Romy, “I tell you what to do and you do it,” as their affair unfolds on screen.
While Kidman is no stranger to filming intimate scenes, she acknowledged that this particular film pushed her limits. "Don’t come near me. I hate doing this," she told The Sun, reflecting on the challenges of simulating such heightened emotions.

“There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration,” Kidman explained.
She said that some moments during filming were so intense that she had to ask her co-stars to stop touching her.
Despite the presence of an intimacy coordinator on set, Kidman emphasized her desire for creative freedom, ensuring the coordinator didn’t confine the actors during the scenes.
“I’m a huge believer still in the sacredness of the set or the actors’ space, and it never, never being violated,” Kidman said.
She emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe environment for actors while filming intimate scenes, describing the set as “the bubble” that separates them from the outside world.
Babygirl, inspired by the 1992 hit Basic Instinct, is slated for release in the U.S. on December 25.
The film’s provocative content has already garnered attention, with Kidman’s candid remarks about the challenges of filming adding to the anticipation surrounding its debut.

I just don’t and never have seen Nicole Kidman as sexy !
It’s like Hollywood has always worked to make us think she’s sexy. She is very plain, kind of ordinary, and she doesn’t have a sexy body she’s built like Taylor Swift kind of like a 19 year old boy.
Christmas, wonderful day to release the film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTH? Hollywood has to go!!!
