J.D. Vance’s vice presidential debate performance has been the talk of the town, and for good reason. Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly was quick to shower him with praise [1], calling his showing a “masterclass” in handling a dishonest opponent and biased moderators, as reported by The Gateway Pundit [2].
Vance didn’t just participate—he dominated, flipping the narrative painted by the leftist media on its head.
Kelly didn’t mince words as she critiqued the moderators of the debate. “The moderators [4] were not much better. They were a little better than ABC News, but J.D. Vance put on a masterclass in how to handle biased moderators and a lying opponent. And it was a thing of beauty,” she said.
“Every Republican voter, or anyone rooting for Trump, knows exactly what I’m feeling right now. It was just so great to see.”
Kelly also took aim at one moderator in particular, Margaret Brennan from CBS News, pointing out her clear bias.
“Margaret Brennan, not only do you desperately need some bronzer, you need to understand how to moderate a fair debate when you have half the country rooting for the other guy. She didn’t even attempt to be fair. I mean, I’m going to utter words I never thought I would utter. I preferred Norah O’Donnell. Margaret Brennan used to have a reputation as being kind of reasonable… When it came to issues of faith, she could be kind of like normal. But no, she has been in the soup too long. She has gone totally native over there at CBS News. You are terrible, madam. Terrible. The moderators were disgusting. But JD Vance was a vision, and Tim Walz really did indeed look like the bumbling knucklehead he said he was.”
Despite the slanted moderators, J.D. Vance’s performance was what really stood out. His ability to maintain composure, deliver his points effectively, and not get tangled in the moderators’ traps was a breath of fresh air for conservative voters.
Vance’s handling of the situation showcased how he’s been unjustly vilified by the mainstream press, only to rise above it when the spotlight was on him.
As reported by Megyn Kelly Show, Vance shattered the liberal media’s distorted image of him, proving that he’s more than capable of holding his ground.
“He’s been demonized [5] by the press since he was named as the running mate, and he completely shattered that tonight,” Kelly said.
It was a moment that left conservative viewers thrilled, as Vance stood tall and effectively dismantled the narrative surrounding him.
While Vance’s debate performance was impressive, one key takeaway is clear: Republicans need to stop agreeing to debates moderated by left-leaning media. Every election cycle, the bias becomes more evident, and it’s time to stop playing on their turf.
