This rally marked Musk’s first major appearance at a presidential campaign event, where he addressed a crowd of around 60,000 Trump supporters.
Musk’s speech was delivered shortly after Trump spoke, with the tech mogul emphasizing the importance of the upcoming November 5 election. “This is no ordinary election,” Musk said. “The other side wants to take away your freedom of speech.” Musk also acknowledged the challenges ahead, calling the election “the most important election of our lifetime.”
In a moment that drew loud applause from the crowd, Musk made a reference to the July 13 assassination attempt on Trump at a rally in Butler.
He compared Trump’s resilience to others, saying, “We had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs, and another who was fist-pumping after getting shot.”

Musk encouraged the crowd to “vote, vote, vote,” urging them to be persistent in getting others to participate in the election. “Just be a pest to everyone,” he said. “You know, people on the street everywhere: Vote, vote, vote!” Musk’s rallying cry of “Fight, fight, fight, vote, vote, vote” was met with cheers, with the billionaire jumping excitedly on stage.
Trump’s speech, which began with him thanking the people of Pennsylvania, was a mixture of lighthearted remarks and serious political points.
He made a reference to the assassination attempt with the line, “As I was saying,” which drew laughter from the crowd.

The former president also reflected on the challenges he’s faced during his political career, stating, “Those who want to stop us from achieving this future have slandered me, impeached me, indicted me, tried to throw me off the ballot, and who knows, maybe even tried to kill me. But I’ve never stopped fighting for you. And I never will.”
During the rally, Trump paid tribute to Corey Comperatore, the firefighter who was killed in the July 13 shooting while protecting his family. At 6:11 p.m., Trump led the crowd in a moment of silence to mark the exact time when the shooting began.
As an opera singer performed “Ave Maria,” Trump and the crowd honored Comperatore’s memory.
