Host Harris Faulkner initiated the conversation by polling the women in attendance about their concerns regarding biological males competing against women and girls in sports.

Every hand in the audience was raised in agreement.

One attendee, a grandmother of nine, including six granddaughters, posed the question directly to Trump about how he plans to tackle this issue.

In response, Trump asserted, “It’s such an easy question, and everybody in the room — you know that answer. We’re not going to let it happen.”

He referenced a recent incident involving a women’s college volleyball team in Nevada that opted not to compete against another team due to the presence of a transgender player.

Trump noted the physical risks involved, stating, “I mean, they’ve been really hurt badly, women playing men,” emphasizing the potential for injuries to female athletes.

Trump elaborated, asserting, “We absolutely stop it. You can’t have it. It’s a man playing in the game.”

When Faulkner asked how he would implement such a ban, he confidently stated, “Just ban it. A president bans it. You just don’t let it happen.”

The Biden-Harris administration has been recognized as the most pro-transgender and pro-gender ideology administration in American history.

This administration has promoted sex change drugs and procedures for minors and has made efforts to protect transgender athletes.

The administration has also proposed changes to Title IX regulations to include “gender identity” as a protected class, which has raised concerns among many parents and advocacy groups.

Trump’s remarks resonate with a growing sentiment among conservatives who are advocating for the protection of women’s sports.

His promise to ban transgender athletes from competing in women’s events reflects a broader national debate over gender identity and sports participation.

As the 2024 election approaches, issues surrounding gender identity and sports will likely remain a focal point for candidates.

Trump’s firm stance on this topic is part of his broader strategy to appeal to voters who are concerned about the implications of gender policies on women’s rights and safety in sports.

The responses from attendees at the town hall suggest that this issue resonates strongly within the community, as many express anxiety about the current administration’s policies regarding transgender athletes.

Trump’s commitment to addressing these concerns may energize his base as he campaigns for the presidency once again.

As debates around transgender issues continue to evolve, the policies set forth by the Biden-Harris administration will remain under scrutiny, particularly from those who believe these policies undermine the integrity of women’s sports.
