Zak Williams, the 41-year-old son of Robin, shared a poignant tribute to his father on Instagram. Alongside a photo of Robin in his iconic role as Mork from the ABC sitcom “Mork & Mindy,” Zak expressed the deep love and admiration he still feels for his father.

“Dad, it’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years,” Zak wrote. His words echoed the sentiments of many who still feel the loss of the legendary actor. Reflecting on his father's life, Zak continued, “Today, I’m reflecting on the immense love you shared with all of us—your family, your friends, and everyone you met. You continue to inspire me every single day to do whatever I can to help create a more connected and loving world for our family.”

Zak’s sister, Zelda Williams, also took to social media on the anniversary of their father’s passing.

While she did not share a tribute, she made an important correction regarding misinformation about her father. A viral post on X (formerly Twitter) featured a picture of Robin with Crystal the monkey, his co-star in the “Night at the Museum” films, falsely claiming the image was one of the last photos taken of him and that the monkey was his pet.

Zelda swiftly debunked the post, stating, “It’s been brought to my attention that some probably AI-written BS like this is going viral. Dad didn’t own a pet monkey, NO ONE should, and if you’re ever tempted to, support your local exotic animal rescues instead.”

Zelda’s response reflects her protective nature over her father’s memory and her commitment to setting the record straight. Both she and Zak have worked tirelessly to ensure that their father’s legacy is honored in ways that align with his values and beliefs.

Zelda, a filmmaker and actress in her own right, has also been vocal about mental health issues, often speaking about the importance of seeking help and the impact of suicide on those left behind.
